Since 1976, the women of NELCWIT have been working to build safety, justice, and dignity for all.  Serving Franklin County and the North Quabbin region of western Massachusetts, we offer counseling, safe homes, advocacy, and education to women and children who have survived domestic violence or sexual abuse, and prevention education for area schools, professionals, and other groups.

We are now 32 years old!  Since 1976, our programs have helped over 12,000 women!

Do You Have Extra Cell Phones?

Bring NELCWIT your old, extra, or unwanted cell phones.  Even if they aren’t working anymore, they can help women and children in need.

All working cell phones, even if not in service, can dial 911.  We charge and test donated phones, and always have some available for women who may need to be able to call 911.

The phones that we can’t use can earn us money. The Shelter Alliance finds new homes for usable phones and responsibly recycles the rest, and they pay  for each cell phone we send them, usable or not.

You may drop cell phones off at our office, 479 Main Street, Greenfield, Monday-Friday between 9 and 4.
