DEVORAH'S DOOR TO SAFETY FUND Domestic violence victims' safety needs are often simple and relatively inexpensive: purchasing a bus ticket to a safe location, renting a truck to move out of town, replacing a door that has been kicked in, installing secure locks on doors and windows. Yet no agency provides money for those purposes. NELCWIT's Devorah's Door to Safety Fund was created to help meet the safety needs of battered women. The application process is streamlined to make it easy for victims to receive the help they need quickly. NELCWIT is a well-respected 501-c-3 organization that has been serving survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault in western Massachusetts for 30 years. NELCWIT will donate all overhead and administrative costs so that 100% of all moneys raised for Devorah's Door will go directly to safety grants. Helping a victim to get to safety - maybe even saving her life - can be as simple as writing a check. Please help us to keep domestic violence victims safe.
